With this last new moon the 19.7.23, we entered a new Hebrew month, the month of Av.

When I think of this month, the first thing that comes up in my mind is "Tisha B'Av", the 9th day of the month of Av. Those 9 first days of this month are a space-time in which happened destructions and tragedies, and in which we are missing a holy temple we've never seen and cannot even imagine.

I've always believed that we can find this temple within us, that somewhere within us it was never lost. That is why I'd like to make a parallel explaining about the magical vibration of a letter, the 9th letter of the Alphabet, the letter Tet ט. It is said to be the letter of this month in the Kabbalah, the Jewish mysticism.

Each month is vibrating at the specific frequency of a letter. The world was itself created by 22 frequencies, the 22 Hebrew letters (as it is said in Sefer Yetsirah, the book of formation).

But on the first Commandments Tablets, the letter Tet was the only letter that was not appearing. Only on the second Commandments Tablets does the Tet letter appear, after the first tablets being broken because of the sin of the golden calf.

Why am I saying all this? Because the letter ט is like our second chance, even better than that, it is the beauty we understand, discover, learn, from what has been destroyed, it is as important if not greater than the first creation. This letter represents the introspection, the ability to go inside, just like we can notice with the shape of the letter. This is the symbol of the idea of finding the lost temple within us, the sparkle, the light, the essence of it.

The first time we see it in the Torah is to create the word טוב "tov", which can be translated as good, but which is actually much more than that, it is about being complete, full. The opposite not being "bad", but "not good" as not full, not complete.

Meditating on this letter (contemplating, drawing or visualizing it), meditating on the vibration of this letter, is actually about meditating on this completion. As all is in movement, completion can seem like an horizon moving forward as we walk towards it. But the idea is to have our face looking on the right direction, having the right intention, there is not really a goal, a point of arrival, just as actually space and time does not exist and are interpretation of how we perceive the universe through our human bodies and consciousness. The whole point is about being, getting to know our true selves to understand we are so much more, infinite love.

I often like to remind how the gematria - numerical value in Jewish mysticism - of Love Ahava אהבה is the same as One Echad אחד, which is 13, the age of a bar mitsvah, 13, our half way responsability to work in partnership with the life towards the 26, which is the highest manifestation of the Divine, the tetragrammaton.

This love is transcendantal and leads us from "Tisha B'Av" to "Tu B'Av", the 15th day of Av, one of the (if not the most) happiest day of the calendar, where one would dance in the fields all dressed in white looking for one's soulmate.

And here, the Kabbala is giving us a great insight to explain us how to live this love, how to experience this transcendantal experience: לשמוע - lishmoa - listening, from the root שמע shin - mem - ayin. Our ears, or more specifically the inner ear, Is the first sens that we develop and is even the only sense organ to fully develop before birth! As I love to explain how everything is vibrational, our ears can perceive the invisible vibrations and turn them into sound. That is why by hearing, closing our eyes, we can learn to percieve the subtle, spiritual realms, and listen to the signs. But we can also learn to listen without our ears, but with our body, as the vibrations are floating faster through the water than the air and our body is mostly liquid, even in the tiniest parts of our body, into our cells. And of course, we can listen with our hearts.

And on a last note, it's also interesting to notice that the astrological sign of the Leo send us for this month some great vibes to be more in the shoes of the leader, in a humble and playful way. So let's not be passive and wait for the other to make the first step!
