Judaism & Sound Healing

Here some little principle that I talk about in the full certifying sound healer mentorship program that are linking judaism and sound healing.

This is unique knowledge as usually sound healing is linked only to chakras system.

To learn more, check here my full course.

A single note does not create a melody, it is when one associates a note with others that a melody is formed. This is why the melody is actually healing relationships between entities.

The melody soothes and alters emotional and mental states, balances mental stress and relieves pain. Like a mother who sings to her child to calm him down, a gentle form of forced resonance. Do you remember a melody that was sung to you as a child? Do you sometimes sing this melody to your inner child? What if you try it right away and see how you feel?

Each melody is made up of various notes that affect us on many levels. Listening to a melody is one of the best ways to regain our balance, without needing to be exposed to it for a long time, like when we rock a child to sleep while singing a just a few musical notes of a melody.

But before creating a full melody, we need to understand the specificities of each note, as each musical note can affect us on different levels.

In Kabbalistic (Jewish mysticism) ancient wisdom, there are 10 sefirot - "10 spheres", "10 worlds", 10 layers to the essence of the light, 10 dimensions.

The 10th layer is the one we live in, so it would be all the sounds and colors together. When we talk about colors here, it is about the subtle light, the light before the photonic sun light was created, it is the light of the create, that is opposed to the matter, it is the gold of the alchemists (in latin gold is "or", and in Hebrew "Or" אור means light). The First world is before the creation, is the oneness.

It is as if we were talking about CMYK or RGB colors. When you print a document in colors, the colors appear in CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black - those are the inks colors in a printer). All those colors put together, imagine you are mixing paint, would turn into black. RGB (Red - Green - Blue) is for screens or leds, so it is color with light and not matter like with paint. When you put those colors together at the same amount (100%) in a light coloring system, for instance with leds screens, it would turn into white.

That being said, the colors represents specific worlds, specific dimensions of self.

9th World

6th World

5th World

We do not have access in the 2nd and 1st spheres as they belong to the realm of pre-creation. It would be like hearing the 8th musical note, 8 being the symbol of infinity, it goes beyond our finite world symbolized by the number 7.

Musical Notes & Sefirot (Alchemy System)
Musical Notes & Sefirot (Alchemy System)

Those worlds can be organized and linked between themselves like in the Kabbalistic Sefirot Tree of life (see picture, click on it to zoom in).

Here is simply to show you how they can influence each other: the 8th orange Mercury world about communication with the 5th red Mars world of strength or anger RE - SOL. Like this you can also see how we get harmonics between the musical notes.

RE - FA - LA

would be Orange - Yellow - Blue

DO - MI - SOL

would be Purple - Green - Red

(Forming the diagonals - All can also be seen as sacred mathematics, sacred geometry!)

The royal path* is the middle path - Purple - Yellow - Oneness

You can create a melody based on those musical notes for instance if your goal is to have a spiritual elevation.

DO - FA - and SI to complete.

*In alchemy, the terms "wet path," "dry path," and "royal path" (as you can see written in the picture) refer to different approaches or methods used in the pursuit of transmutation and spiritual enlightenment. Here's a brief explanation of each path:

  1. Wet Path: The wet path involves the use of liquids and solvents to dissolve and purify substances.

  2. Dry Path: The dry path relies on heating and purification techniques to extract the essence of a substance.

  3. Royal Path: The royal path, sometimes referred to as the "middle path," combines the principles of the wet and dry paths, seeking a harmonious integration of opposites for spiritual transformation and the pursuit of the philosopher's stone. It is called to be the path of the prophets as it is the most direct to the 1, and you take your own matter, your own self, as the matter to transmute.

Be curious, play different chords and observe how it makes you feel emotionally and physically, and come back to those different references (kabbalistic system and not only the well-known chakras one) !

The Hebrew Letters

Each Hebrew letters have a very powerful vibration. It is said in the Sefer Yetsirah, the Kabbalistic book of creation, that the cosmos was created by 22 frequencies that are represented by the 22 letters of the alphabet.

Each letter has a specific resonance, a specific meaning and symbolic. In Kabbalistic astrology, it is said that each Hebrew month resonate with a specific letter. You can meditate on the letters according to their meaning or with the letter corresponding to the Hebrew month.

Meditating on the letters can be contemplating their shape (or even draw them) - as the vibration shapes the matter*, looking at a shape is looking at its vibration. It is said in the Torah that as they received the tables "they saw the voices" in mount Sinai. It works the same with cymatics as we saw previously. You should contemplate their shape with "the flames" - from their sacred shape drawing (and not the contemporary way of writing them), like in the Ktav Ashurit.

You can also sing the letters so infuse the sound healing with the letters vibration.

A nice introduction to each letter meaning can be found here and here.

*Watching the water or the sand shaping itself thanks to the sound is so beautiful, I am sure you will enjoy watching it, and without words needed you will understand why working with vibration is so magical. We can see the sacred geometry, understanding how everything is built upon sacred mathematics. Higher is the frequency, more complexed the shapes get.
